Rentals

Kalavida offers standup paddleboard rentals for individuals, groups and corporate events. You can launch directly from Kalamalka Beach (across the street) or take the boards away and enjoy them at your leisure.

Kalavida’s rental fleet: Our rental fleet isn’t just a bunch of spongies – we have all kinds of boards from basic all-rounders, inflatables, and even a few faster and more exciting racing and touring boards. The come in a wide range of sizes and stability options.

Looking to buy a board?
We want you to feel confident that you get the right board and paddle the first time. Our staff will work with you throughout the process to make sure we fully understand what you are looking for (even if you aren’t quite sure yet). For those who need to test out a few boards before a purchase, our ‘Try before you Buy’ program will help you find the right equipment for your needs. If you’re able to make it to one of the Demo Days, then you’ll have a chance to try out a variety of boards. If you decide to rent a few times to try out a few boards, we will deduct a portion of your rental fees from your new board purchase* (*on select models) – see store for details.

Okanagan SUP Demo Centre:  Kalamalka Lake is one of the most scenic lakes in BC and offers a great chance for newbies and experienced paddlers a chance to test out the latest in boards, paddles and accessories. We stock a wide range of boards for flatwater cruising, touring, racing, river running, and even surfing and although we can’t promise you a nice surf break, we do have the Okanagan’s best demo location right on Kalamalka Beach. Kalavida offers standup paddleboard rentals and demos throughout the spring, summer and fall. We have a streamlined rental program and within minutes you are on the beach and ready for your adventure. Kalavida offers sales and rentals for Vernon, Kelowna and around the Okanagan and Shuswap region.
